Chester Based Marketing Expert Elected as a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Marketing
The talents and professional dedication of one of Cheshire’s leading marketers has been rewarded as Nick Yates, owner and director of NYMarketing, a multi dimensional marketing consultancy based in Chester, has just been elected into the prestigious Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
Nick, 50, lives in Chester and has been actively involved in the Merseyside/North Wales and Cheshire branches of the CIM since 1997.
His election to the Fellowship, by the Institute’s Regional Board, was as a result of his strong marketing background and he joins some other 150 fellows who are based in the North West. The members of this elite group are considered to be at the very pinnacle of their careers and the leaders within the marketing profession.
Nick has worked with a variety of high profile and prestigious clients, both within the public and private sectors, throughout his career including; the North West Regional Assembly, PixelFOUNTAIN and Hewlett Packard.
Diane Earles, regional director of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the North, commented; ‘Nick has been an invaluable member of the Institute for many years so his election is much deserved. The criteria for the admission of any new fellow is that he or she must be a person of integrity who also has a proven record of expertise, experience and success’.
Diane concluded; ‘It was, of course, a unanimous decision that Nick not only met but also exceeded these expectations so I’m delighted that he is now part of the Institute’s ever-growing Fellowship.’

I have worked alongside Nick since 1997 and seen how he mentors students at the University of Chester in addition to his considerable marketing skills and activities for organisations in the North West.”
