James Brady joins Marketing Projects
Marketing Projects welcomes new starter, James Brady. The Chester and London based PR and Marketing Consultancy has taken on the 22-year-old English Literature graduate as PR and Marketing Assistant.
James joined the team on work experience in March. He has already worked on events for MCC Apple Premium Reseller in Chester and Liverpool and Chester Performs, ensuring their smooth running from conception to completion. He was also a key contact for the Chester Food & Drink Festival over the Easter Bank Holiday.
James studied at Sheffield University and was a regular contributor to the University newspaper and other publications. After graduating, he worked for Sheffield based PR firm, HR Media before returning west of the Pennines to work for Marketing Projects in his birthplace of Chester.
Jane Harrad-Roberts, 46, managing director of Marketing Projects said: “We’re very happy to welcome James to the team. He has already shown key organisational skills and initiative. I know he is looking forward to becoming a key member of staff and to taking on even more responsibility in, what is a very busy working environment here at Marketing Projects.”

Marketing Projects “fired-up’ in May 1995. In 1997, the business was named “Chester New Business of the Year” for “its growth, reputation and use of new technology”. In 1999 it won an award for its use of technology and its e-commerce web site from part of the DTI. In February 2000, Marketing Projects opened a London office in St George’s Street, Mayfair in London, a convenient meeting point for clients, editors and journalists. The Chester office moved to larger premises in August 2000 and doubled office space in 2002.
