Winner Models Dazzling Diamond at Chester Fashion launch
A lucky lady won a dazzling diamond necklace donated by Waltons for the launch of Chester Fashion 09.
Pamela Gardener, of the Wirral, won a diamond necklace worth more than £1,000, which was donated by Waltons of Chester for the launch of this year’s Fashion Fortnight.
The event, which was staged at Chester Racecourse, raised more than £2,300 for the NeuroMuscular Centre in Winsford, which improves the quality of life for adults with neuromuscular conditions. Waltons is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
A highlight of the evening, which was attended by more than 100 guests, was a raffle where a lucky winner won a diamond necklace. The necklace was presented to the winner, who is the mother of a physiotherapist at the NeuroMuscular Centre, by Richard Hogben, General Manager of Waltons of Chester.
Richard Hogben said: “This was a fantastic evening, raising a significant amount of money for the NeuroMuscular Centre. Diamonds are always fashionable, so it was fitting that we donated a diamond for the launch of Chester Fashion 09.”
NeuroMuscular Centre Events Organiser, Leanne Marsden added: “Waltons have been fantastic to support this event. We were thrilled that a company as prestigious as Waltons were keen to help. We are delighted with the success of the Chester Fashion event and hope to work with Waltons again in the future.”
