Queen's celebrates excellent GCSE results
GCSE students at The Queen’s School are celebrating today the best ever percentage of A* GCSE grades in the history of the school.
With an A*- C pass rate of 98.7%, over 50% of students achieved all A’s and A*’s. Seventeen girls achieved 9 A*’s and five scored 10 A*’s.
Incoming Headmistress Sarah Clark said:
“We are so proud of what the girls have achieved this year. They work very hard and fully deserve their success. Results such as these once again emphasise the benefits of a single-sex education for girls.
