It's off to Neverland at Queen's
Girls from The Queen’s Lower School performed their rendition of Peter Pan to entertain parents.
Girls aged between seven and nine took to the stage this week at the Liverpool Road school, taking audience members on a trip to Never Neverland where they met Captain Hook, the Lost Boys and the ticking crocodile.
The performance incorporated a number of sing-a-long songs which were sung by both the children and audience members.
Mrs Margaret Ainsworth, Deputy Head of the Lower School, said:
“Despite their young age, the girls were superb on the stage. It was clear that they were thoroughly enjoying themselves and showed great talent.”
Eight-year-old Isabella Escott, who played the lead part of Peter Pan, added:
“It was great fun performing on stage. The script was funny and the songs really tuneful. I loved it!”
