Jets fans feel at home in the Faulkner
Cheshire Jets fans are looking forward to catching up with their squad this weekend after Sunday’s (October 16th) match against BBL rivals Leicester Riders.
The award winning Faulkner Bar and Kitchen will again welcome players, supporters and fans for the post-match party. The Cheshire Jets’ new partnership with The Faulkner Bar & Kitchen in Hoole and the Ring O’ Bells in Christleton was announced last month and celebrated with an American themed party complete with a live DJ and specially designed menu. Head Coach John Lavery is more than happy to bring his players along post match to meet with fans and supporters;
“This is a great space where the fans can catch up with each other and dissect the game. This is a community club and we want to keep it that way, the Faulkner Bar & Kitchen is a great pub in a great location which Jets fans can enjoy after the games. It’s great that they will get to meet and put questions to the new look squad and coaching staff”
The Jets team will be in attendance from 7.30pm on Sunday 16th October.
Ian Wade has owned The Faulkner for seven years and also runs the Ring O’Bells in Christleton which was voted Chester’s Best Pub 2011-12 at the Chester Food & Drink Festival and is currently shortlisted for the prestigious Cheshire Life Dining Pub of the Year 2011 award, added;
“The BBL championship starts this weekend and we are hopefully looking forward to welcoming a victorious Jets team to the Faulkner. It’s a great opportunity for fans to have their views heard by the team. We’ve something here to celebrate at the Faulkner Bar & Kitchen, win or lose.”
