Scare Factor has the X-Factor
ACTORS took to the spooky stage with most showing they have the Scare Factor to perform at Europe’s fastest growing Halloween Theme Park.
Spooky World, near to Warrington, held auditions where actors gave fun day-time and scary-by-night auditions.
The actors were also judged on how they would interact with the Spooky World team at Apple Jacks Farm, as well as their stamina for performances throughout the day and night.
The selected actors will help to run the all new Haunted House and Spooky Show for the launch event on Monday October 17 over Halloween and Bonfire Night to November 10.
David Fryer, Manager of Spooky World and by far the scariest judge in the Scare Factor auditions, said:
“I was impressed by the standard of the actors and am sure we have found some genuinely scary characters to help out. Not wanting to sound like the X-Factor’s Simon Cowell, but the acts really do get better every year. Working at Spooky World is hard work but also great fun.
“This Halloween, Spooky World has new, bigger and scarier attractions with extended opening dates.”
The ‘spooktacular’ growth of Spooky World has quite rightly titled it as the fastest growing Halloween Themed attraction in Europe. Visitor numbers have doubled in size each year since Spooky World started in 2006, with more than 26,000 visitors last year.
