Latest News Frightening growth at Spooky World
Spooky World was shortlisted for Best Family Attraction/event in the Screamie Awards 2008 and intends winning an award for 2009. This year visitor’s figures are already smashing the best expectations, David Fryer, managing director of the park near the M6/M56 junction, was expecting 32,000 visitors for this year but has already achieved 35,000 visitors so far, two thirds into the ‘spooky season’.

Latest News Spooky World decreases Anti-Social Behaviour
Last year, more than 25,000 visitors attended Spooky World, among them twenty young people on a “Halloween Trip” organised by Police Officers in Merseyside. The aim of the evening was to give underprivileged children a chance to be involved but a significant further benefit was a reduction in anti-social behaviour in the Liverpool area as a direct result of the trip. This year the same effect was seen both in Liverpool and in Stockton Heath.

Ghostly goings on around the North West
A father and son farming team are taking Halloween on tour this year. David and Joseph Fryer of Apple Jack"s Farm, will be visiting North West towns and cities with their unique blend of horror and hay, Spooky World.

About Spooky World
Originally a traditional farm with entrepreneurial owners, the farm has been transformed to also provide additional income as a destination for leisure and tourism. In the Summer the farm hosts the Amazing Maize Maze and in the Autumn around Halloween, it becomes Spooky World.

Saturday October 17 to Tuesday November 10:
‘Fun by Day’ 12pm – 5pm (not recommended for under 4’s)
‘Scary by Night’ 5pm – 9pm or later (not recommended for under 6’s)
Prices from £8.50 to £12.50 depending on day and visitor.
