Latest News £1.7m of business in 2011 for freelancers and entrepreneurs

Organisers of unique networking and workshop events for freelancers and entrepreneurs delivered 840 business meetings stimulating more than £1.7 million of business in the North West this spring.

More than 80 entrepreneurs and freelancers attended the Enterprise Freelance Fair in Manchester which created 340 new business introductions. The Brookson Enterprise Freelance Fair, which was held at the Innospace Business Incubator at Manchester Metropolitan University, delivered 12 different workshops with 10 different speakers and 97% of attendees gave the event the thumbs up in their feedback forms.

The rather nice people behind the Brookson Enterprise Freelance Fair have come up with an idea to cheer the lonely hearts of business professionals around the North West this month. Their contribution to the red hearts and cupids associated with Valentine’s Day brings like minded people together in a marriage made in heaven for the business world.

Results of the January survey of North West freelancers are in and show that freelance and contract workers are feeling nervous about the forthcoming year.

Help for North West freelancers and entrepreneurs will continue to carry the name ‘Brookson’ as Warrington’s innovative accountancy services firm chose to continue its sponsorship of the spring 2011 Enterprise Freelance Fairs.

More than 160 business leaders attended three unique workshops for freelancers delivering more than £1.5 million of business growth across the North West.

A unique workshop and networking event for freelancers is launched in Manchester next month where entrepreneurs will be offered tips to beat the cuts.
