Romance continues with 'I love.....' photo competition
A photographic competition encouraging images of one of the most romantic cities in the world is being sponsored by MCC Apple Premium Reseller. The photo competition which is being launched on St. Valentine’s Day will run for two weeks and has the themes of I love my friends and family and I love Chester. Entrants in the two categories are divided into three age groups; up to 11, 12 to 18 and 19 and over. Every budding David Bailey can enter by bringing their images on a digital camera to the Watergate Row based MCC Chester store before the end of February.
Top celebrity and local newspaper photographers will judge the competition on Saturday March 3. The best photos will be displayed at Wesley Methodist Church, St. John Street, Chester and the two winners of each of the six categories will also be displayed on the Mac screens in the MCC Chester store.

“Chester provides one of the most romantic backdrops in the world. We hope that entrants of all ages will enjoy taking their photos to enter this competition which can involve all the family. The public will have the chance to vote for the overall winner online from March 3 to 14 and the winner will receive a £200 voucher. There will be winners and runner-ups for each category and they will win the new colour iPod shuffles.” He added; “Anyone bringing their images to the Chester store on camera during the competition can receive a demonstration of Apple’s innovative iPhoto technology and there will be special events here on 3rd March. Knowledgeable sales staff at the Chester store are always on hand to help customers choose their favourite purchases, such as iPods, Macbooks and accessories.”
The overall winner of the photo competition will be announced on March 16.
