Witches brew of events at St. John Street Festival
Broomsticks were at the ready as witches, pumpkins and even Dracula invaded a street in Chester. Hundreds of Halloween revellers took part in trick or treating at the St. John Street Festival in Chester, which comprised “spooktacular” offers at The Macdonald New Blossoms Hotel, Cruise, Pitcher & Piano and Pizza Express.
Prizes on offer included a complimentary night"s stay for two at The Macdonald New Blossoms Hotel, a VIP booth and magnum of Champagne at Cruise and a meal for two at either Pitcher & Piano or Pizza Express.
St. John Street had a series of special offers and discounts over Halloween and The Macdonald New Blossoms Hotel staged a lucky dip with participants able to take a spooky challenge.
Kate Halewood, General Manager of The Macdonald New Blossoms Hotel, said:
“It was fantastic that the whole street took part in this Festival, which shows the great co-operation which exists within businesses in this city centre street. The theme of the Festival was that you can do everything on St. John Street; eat, drink, dance and sleep. The Halloween Festival was a fantastic success and we are planning to make this an annual event. St. John Street also wants to be more involved in the Christmas lights switch on.”
Room & Grille restaurant will be launching at The Macdonald New Blossoms Hotel in December.
