Last few places for Just Another Fashion Show...
Soap stars from Hollyoaks will be among the celebrities looking through the looking glass at cutting edge charity fashion at an event in Chester next month.
VIP tickets have already sold out for Just Another Fashion Show, which is staging an Alice In Wonderland themed charity event complete with a grass covered catwalk, tea stands, flowers and a five foot cake at Chester Racecourse.
The last few remaining tickets are still available though for the catwalk event which will showcase some of the region’s hottest retailers, freshest designers and most eclectic vintage boutiques as well as local band The Shy and the Fight, Rock and Indie DJ Paul Tomlinson and further celebrity VIPs.
Independent dressmaker Flatley Designs based on Bold Street, Liverpool, vintage emporium Cow Manchester and high street superbrands such as Zara, will showcase their current collections and Pop Boutique, who sell their eclectic mixture of fashion and accessories to fashionistas around the globe will make a welcome return to the Just Another Fashion Show catwalk.
Chester based designer and vintage store Aliz will also be displaying their unique collections and costume designer and dressmaker Louise O’Mahoney’s couture designs will also be paraded on the catwalk. To finish off the look British Hairdresser of the Year James Whyte and his team at Soul Hair, on Watergate Row, Chester will be creating some eclectic hair creations and make-up artists using Mac make-up will be working their magic. To get everyone in the mood for the long hot summer ahead, models will also don sunglasses from David Cudlow, in Cheshire Oaks.
Organiser Alex Dooley said:
“The last few tickets are remaining for what will be the hottest ticket in town. The after party of all after parties will carry on into the small hours at a secret Chester location, with a mix of cool eclectic sounds suited for all tastes and eardrums with drinks offers and free entrance to those who have kept hold of their tickets. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to two African charities; Stepping Stones Nigeria, for disadvantaged children in Nigeria and Just Care, which supports children in Uganda.”
The night has been specially created by Chester based events organisation, Utility Promotions, which regularly showcases new ideas in fashion, art, music and culture in Chester and the North West, following the roaring success of their sell-out fashion event in October.
Included in the ticket price will be entrance into a raffle which will feature prizes from some of Chester’s top hotels, restaurants, bars and clothing stores as well as an exclusive cut with one of Chester’s top hairdressers. Also included in the ticket price will be entrance to the exclusive after party at a location in Chester which is yet to be revealed.
