Christmas Blockbuster film in Chester from Thursday

Premiered at the Royal Variety Performance on 30 November attended by the Queen and X-Factor stars, this Christmas’ blockbuster, “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” goes on general release on Thursday December 9th.
Chester viewers can watch the brand new movie at Cineworld in 3D with “superior CGI and high-impact, energetic action” in the first showing since One Direction, Matt Cardle, Boris Becker, Ben Barnes and The Queen saw it at the premiere in Leicester Square, London.
The saga continues as Lucy and Edmund return to the magic land of Narnia for their greatest adventure yet!
Stranded in wartime England, Edmund Pevensie (Skandar Keynes) and his sister Lucy (Georgie Henley) are drawn to a painting of a ship that reminds them of their adventures in Narnia. When the painting suddenly swallows them up, the Pevensies and their cousin Eustace (Will Poulter) find themselves on board the ship – The Dawn Treader. Also on the voyage are Edmund and Lucy’s friend King Caspian (Ben Barnes) and the warrior mouse Reepicheep (voiced by Simon Pegg). The children learn that the fate of Narnia itself rests on their mission. It takes them to mysterious islands and a river that turns to gold, to confrontations with magical creatures and sinister enemies – and to a reunion with the Great Lion, Aslan. Based on the Narnia stories by CS Lewis, this is the third instalment in the spellbinding saga.
