A twilight happening
Following the amazing success of last years" Up The Wall, Chester Performs is once again planning a “twilight happening” on and around Chester"s city walls on Thursday 2nd – Saturday 4th October between 7pm and 10pm.
“Last year”s event proved so much more popular than we ever could have imagined, over the two evenings we attracted over 3,500 people. This year we"ve extended the event to three days, developed our relationship with the Cathedral and moved the event from November to October, in the hope that it will be slightly warmer. We"ve got some real treats lined up, so keep an eye out for what"s coming up"; Amber Knipe, Project Co-ordinator, Chester Performs.
Up The Wall is a family friendly celebration of the city walls in light, sound and art. Chester Performs invites you on an autumnal, evening promenade on Thursday 2nd, Friday 3rd or Saturday 4th October. Along the route audiences will presented with a range of interactive, unusual and some rather unusual works of art and performance. Starting at Abbey Square, audiences will be encouraged to follow the route along the walls and into the Cathedral cloisters. Making sure you pick up your special treat at the end…
