Shortlist for Food and Drink Awards
Restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars have been shortlisted for the Chester Food & Drink Festival 2009. The annual Food & Drink Awards will be presented at a glittering Gala Awards Dinner at The Pavilion at Chester Racecourse on Wednesday April 15.
The Awards mark the ‘icing on the cake’ for the city’s eighth annual Food and Drink Festival, with the main Taste Festival part of the event, including celebrity chef demonstrations, taking place over the Easter Weekend from April 11 to 13 at Chester Racecourse.

Customers across Cheshire nominated their favourite venues with the final lists being refined by a panel of judges from Chester@large.
A well experienced panel of mystery diners will visit the shortlisted establishments and mark on a range of factors to find the winners for 2009. Winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner where guests will receive a delicious meal and fantastic live entertainment throughout the evening.
There are two types of tickets available for the Gala Dinner:
Full ticket – including welcome drink and two-course meal 30 pounds
Half ticket – including welcome drink and canapes 10 pounds
