Bread of Heaven
Dai the Bread, who has been demonstrating for more than 20 years, kicked off the cookery at this year’s Chester Food & Drink Festival.
The audience were treated to fabulous tastes of freshly baked bread, that included rosemary, foccacio, olives, olive oil, sun-dried tomato, fennel, sultana, walnut, apple bread.
Dai, who sells bread into Harrod’s, said: “Breaking the bread is like a bread of heaven communion. There is a community drive against the supermarket. I am supporting local shops. It’s about a combination of produce using products available at the Marquee.”
