Think Pink for Chester Fashion Ladies Launch
Ladies will be thinking pink on Tuesday September 18 when a plush pink Rolls-Royce marks the start of Chester Fashion 2007.
The Rolls-Royce, one of only two in the world, is owned by Count and Countess Craig and Lisa Baker and will be parked outside the Blackhouse Grill, Newgate Street, Chester from 6pm. Ladies will receive complimentary pampering from Uber cosmetics, who will offer massages, treatments and expert beauty advice.
Philip Armstrong couture will be showcasing some celebrity inspired couture creations at the event and Bridge Street’s Cruise will be showcasing this Season’s must have handbags and accessories.
CF07 runs from September 17 to September 29 and retailers and designers across the city are working together to showcase the best fashion to rival London.
Stephen Wundke, chairman of Chester Fashion 2007, said:
“We have a stunning programme of events for this year’s Chester Fashion 2007 and this will be a great event to kick things off. I am urging the ladies of Chester to enjoy a glass of champagne, canapés, prizes, fashion and pampering at the Blackhouse. The pink Rolls Royce Phantom should be a showstopper, with the only other one being in Dubai. The Blackhouse Grill has one of the largest selections of cocktails in Chester, with 241 varieties available on the night.”
Chester’s Fashion 2007 forms an important part of Chester Festivals and is organised on behalf of Chester City Council and CHARISMA, with support from the Northwest Regional Development Agency, Visit Chester & Cheshire, Creative Industries Support Project (CRISP), The Mall Grosvenor, The Forum Shopping Centre, HSBC, 103.4 Marcher Sound and Trinity Mirror.
