Bright futures for Chester & District Housing Trust new recruits

Regeneration of Hoole House

Building work has started on a £3.2 million regeneration scheme which will provide 36 two-bed retirement homes in Chester.

Chester and District Housing Trust’s (CDHT) entry was also the regional winner for the North West. The competition called for images which show how social enterprise is not just business as usual.

Residents are being offered the ability to apply for low cost loans to purchase household appliances thanks to the cooperation of three Chester organisations.

New Planned Works Manager for CDHT

Chester & District Housing Trust recently announced the appointment of Paul Finch as Planned Works Manager for TrustWorks, where he will be responsible for ensuring that building and refurbishment work will be meeting the Trust’s standards. Paul is part of the management team at TrustWorks and adds to a number of appointments at TrustWorks in the last 12 months.

TrustWorks the in-house maintenance team at Chester & District Housing Trust (CDHT) invited all CDHT residents for a special “Home Improvement course” recently. Tenants came armed with questions on all sorts of DIY topics to ask the builders on hand and left with the answers on how to improve their homes.
