This event, which included refreshments, was held for CDHT residents at The Barbour Institute, Tattenhall with the hope of having further safety awareness events spreading to other rural villages.
Emma Turner, Visiting Support Officer for CDHT, said:
“This event was about being a good neighbour, getting residents together and enhancing neighbourhood awareness. It was a great opportunity to highlight home safety and show community partnership at work.”
Paula Marshall, CDHT Community Housing Officer, who also attended the Tattenhall event, added:
“At present, there aren’t any active CDHT resident groups in the rural areas, but the hope is that by bringing residents together that we may continue to build on a good community spirit.”
