Customer Services Team wins first Ambassadors Award
The customer services team which responds to an average of more than 10,000 calls per month scooped Chester & District Housing Trust’s (CDHT) inaugural Ambassadors team of the year Award.
CDHT’s dedicated customer services team, currently consisting of 17 colleagues, answers calls ranging from rent and heating problems, to homelessness and anti-social behaviour issues.
The Ambassadors Awards were presented by CDHT Chief Executive John Denny at CDHT’s biannual conference which was held at Chester Racecourse.
Dave Shaw, CDHT Assistant Director – Customer & Housing Access, said:
“The Ambassadors Awards are presented to colleagues who go that extra mile and are passionate about their work, which makes them ambassadors for CDHT. The customer services team genuinely places the customer at the centre of what we do. We are looking to grow the team; I can’t tell you the satisfaction and pride I get from seeing members of the team, who have come through the Future Jobs Fund and gained qualifications in Customer Services and other areas of the business. The team are continually making a difference.”
Sue Cadwaladr, CDHT Customer Service Improvements Manager, added:
“I’m lucky to be managing such a close knit team that I am proud to be part of. The team has won this Award. No matter what the weather we have to open the department and service it. We have colleagues in at all times; we never know what’s going to come through. The team has a broad knowledge of the business as well as always remaining calm, positive and professional.”
