Hop on board for a fun weekend

On June 20-22 Weston Park, Staffordshire will become a venue of summer, sounds and stylish transport. CamperJam is an outdoor event with the VW Camper Van as its inspiration. The weekend event promises to be the perfect occasion for families and anyone who appreciates timeless style.

There will be a full entertainment programme with plenty for the kids to do. Druid’s Brew, the European touring VW Bus Band from West Wales, will be there to provide mellow tunes and the festival vibe. There will also something a bit different with the chance to DJ your very own set. Naturally there will be a fleet of vans in top notch condition on display.

The instantly recognisable vehicle occupies a warm place in many people’s hearts. The VW Camper Van was made famous by bands such as The Beatles and The Who and helped to define the style of a generation. The show is organised by Chester based Camper and Commercial magazine and is aimed at anyone looking for a vibrant day out.

Mandy White, event director and managing director of Chester based Get Funky, said:

“It’s a beautiful setting for a day out, or the whole weekend if you want. There will be a range of different traders at the show including clothing, V Dub gifts, retro accessories, interior trimmings, camping accessories, kites and a great range of food suppliers, all surrounded by 1000 acres of beautiful parkland astride the Shropshire and Staffordshire border.”

Weston Park is situated on the A5 at Weston-under-Lizard, just 30 minutes from Central Birmingham 3 miles off M54, Junction 3 and 8 miles off M6 Junction 12.
