Watch out James Bond
The name could be Bond, James Bond for the manager of The Queen Hotel, who won a replica of the actual watch worn by Chester born super-spy Daniel Craig in the new Casino Royale film. Andrew Lockwood won the bullet-proof Omega Seamaster watch which was donated by Waltons of Chester at the star studded regional premiere in the city on Wednesday November 15.
The winning ticket had been attached by MI6 agents from Waltons the Jewellers underneath one of the 404 seats at The Odeon premiere and before the screening of Casino Royale, the guests were asked to look under their seats. The presentation was made by debonair Daniel’s father Tim Craig before the film.
Richard Hogben, general manager of Waltons of Chester, said:

The Omega Seamaster is made of stainless steel, water resistant to 300m and worth more than £1,000 and has become synonymous with Bond movies.
Mr Lockwood said:
"I was very surprised and very pleased to win the watch. I was delighted to be presented with the watch by the new James Bond’s father Tim Craig. Although the watch is bullet proof, the only disappointment is that it doesn’t bring my Aston Martin round to the door. I enjoyed the film at the Premiere as well as the after-show party and winning the watch made it a very special evening for me. Thank you so much to Waltons of Chester."
