The Queen's School Activities Day
The Queen’s School welcomed to its Activities Day over 100 Year 5 girls from more than 35 different schools all over the North West. These included schools in and around a wide area of Chester, including Wirral, Wales and Shropshire.
The Activities Day is especially designed for Year 5 girls and aims to offer them a flavour of the range of activities available at The Queen’s School.
As Cheshire’s premier girls’ school, Queen’s has a national reputation for academic excellence. The Activities Day aims to underline that learning can be fun and allows girls to sample lessons in a variety of different subjects. These include Spanish, drama, science, music, art, an ICT workshop and many more besides.
The enthusiasm and excitement of the girls was very evident as they tried new activities and learned new skills. They pronounced the Activities Day a huge success.
