You return from holiday with the lapping of the waves still ringing in your ears and go back to work with only memories, a few photos and a fading sun-tan to remind you of your time away. Now holidays can continue at home with a favourite foreign beer or wine stocked exclusively at Chester’s Scatchards Wine Merchants.
Scatchards has Chester’s largest selection of beer from around the world. More than 100 varieties are available including Greek beer such as Mythos, for which Scatchards’ Hoole shop is only Chester stockist, and a wide selection of exclusive European beers.
Scatchards is also well known for discovering new and exciting wines that generally come from smaller growers who provide more individuality than some of the mass market producers.
Owner of Scatchards in Chester Samantha Jackson said: “We are finding that customers call in wanting to buy drinks to either get into the holiday mood or keep the holiday spirit going.
