Account win for Marketing Projects
Festivities are in order this month for Chester based Marketing Projects. The PR and Marketing firm, together with Ziggurat Ltd; who will be responsible for branding, has won a significant communications contract to promote Chester & District Housing Trust following a three way pitch. Chester & District Housing Trust owns, manages and maintains 6,234 homes in six neighbourhoods across Cheshire and is the eighth largest employer in the district.
Jane Harrad-Roberts, 47, Managing Director of Marketing Projects, said:
“Marketing Projects is delighted to be working with such an innovative and ambitious organisation as Chester & District Housing Trust. The Trust has made massive progress since 2004, going from a zero to two star excellent rating, one of only three in the UK to make this level of improvement. We will be working with all CDHT stakeholders to achieve the standards commensurate with the top three star rating. It is clear from the people we’ve met so far at Chester & District Housing Trust that everyone is committed to achieving this.”
John Denny, 47, Chief Executive of Chester & District Housing Trust, added:
“Congratulations to every one of the Marketing Projects team who have worked hard on this tender and will be working with us from January. Marketing Projects showed they had thoroughly researched our organisation, its ethos and its challenges. The team was able to demonstrate a total commitment to our vision of creating opportunity for all and providing accessible and affordable housing. We were also aware that all bid staff took part in property walkabouts and spoke to residents before finalising their proposals. We look forward to working with them.”
Felicity Turner, Chairperson of TRAIL, the Tenants and Residents Association Including Leaseholders, said:
“We are pleased that Marketing Projects will represent the voice of the residents. Communications are vitally important to us as press releases make people aware of the different and varied activities going on in the area in which they live. News tends to focus on the negatives, but we are aware that Marketing Projects aim to break this cycle and bring out the positive stories involving our communities.”
