Rob Cotton joined NCC Group in 2000, becoming CEO in 2003 and steering the Group through admission to Aim in July 2004 following an April 2003 MBO. He has delivered consistent organic revenue and profit growth and instigated and overseen a series of strategic expansion plans including the acquisition of complementary businesses worldwide.

Professor Mark Ferguson is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Renovo Group PLC, where he has been responsible for building and leading all aspects of the business since it’s inception. Previously, he was the founder, CEO and Chairman of Manchester Botech Ltd, where he was responsible for funding, building and staffing its new building in which Renovo is currently housed. At the University of Manchester, Professor Ferguson has over 20 years of scientific and clinical research experience in wound healing and scarring. He and his university research group have published more than 250 research papers. He has given many prestigious, international research lectures and been awarded 23 international prizes and medals for research, including 2003 European Science Prize (jointly).

Neil Prosser is MD and owner of the Flannels Group. Founded in 1976, the Flannels Group is celebrating its 30th anniversary, has 12 stores in leading cities across the UK and an annual turnover in excess of £22m – no mean feat for an independent retailer in the fiercely competitive fashion sector.

Sandy Chadhais the CEO of Supreme Imports, the world’s largest independent dealer in Dry Cell Batteries. In 2oo4, its sales amounted to £42M, with targeted net profit of £4.1 m. The company enjoys 35% of the UK market share and is an official UK distributor for major battery brands such as Duracell and Panasonic. In 1997, Sandy founded Photomax to service the UK Photomarket with professional film, paper and chemicals, and is the leading UK dealer in the independent sector for Fuji, Konica, Ilford Kodak and Polaroid. Supreme Imports is also the negotiated License holder for Samsung Batteries and photofilm. It holds the UK license for Memorex ,bskyb, and traxdata for the blue chip multiple sector. The company services 3000 live accounts, ranging from electrical stores to the toy/ diy/chemist/clothing/catalogue and customers varing from multi-retail to discount stores and convenience cash and carry. This year Supreme Imports made 3 Aquistions , GPS Gemini Products and Jazz Photo.

Scott Fletcher, one of the countries leading entrepreneurs, has over 15 years experience within the IT industry. In 1996, he founded ANS and has been responsible for their steady growth, leading the company through its acquisitions of AMS, Medifile and BIOS Ltd. His business acumen has grown ANS into a profitable IT solutions, design and support company. Scott has also launched a spin off business Smart Identity as well as acting on the board of the newly formed football club FC United of Manchester.

In a bid to meet her own childcare needs, working mother Jennie Johnson went one step further than most working parents by launching her own childcare company, Kids Allowed. Jennie, Managing Director and founder of Kids Allowed, the award-winning childcare company, is setting new industry standards and is delivering an innovative approach to childcare. Her vision for the future is that Kids Allowed will improve standards of care across the industry and will persuade other companies to offer an equivalent standard of family-centric, flexible childcare. Two Kids Allowed centres have opened since September 2005 offering flexible childcare solutions based on a holistic family-focused range of services. Jennie has funding for seven more.
