Charlie Buckwell is Chief Executive of Complete Medical Group (CMG), a Macclesfield based service business specialising in medical education and communication programmes for the healthcare industry. Charlie has successfully led significant development of CMG’s culture, structure and service offering. As a result CMG is much more competitive and achieved outstanding growth in 2005, along with awards such as Work-Life Balance accreditation in the same year.
Mike Newton is ranked No1 amongst the top 100 entrepreneurs in the UK by Management Today magazine (January 05), Mike is the CEO and creative force behind CCTV specialist AD Group. He also founded Dedicated Micros more than 20 years ago. In 1985 he brought to market the world’s first CCTV multiplexer, a major landmark in the expansion of CCTV.
In 1990 Charles Oulton took over the family antique business with a turnover of £250K. Today turnover has increased to £22m with profits circa £1.8m. In 2003 Charlie opened a Hong Kong sales company to export to the rest of the world. Now selling containers of furnishings to over 300 retailers in 55 different countries. In the last two years Halo has won 6 different awards including BITC and Best furniture web-site. Halo’s Express Yourself campaign has started raising £70K pa for worthy causes. In May Charlie became Macclesfield Borough Councillor for High Legh.

Sat Dhaiwal, 37, is Chief Executive Officer of A-Plant, one of the UK’s leading equipment rental companies. Sat has over 20 years experience in the hire industry and was appointed A-Plant CEO and Ashtead Group Director in March 2002. He has been instrumental in reshaping the business to achieve both growth and profitability.
Prior to establishing de Poel Consulting Ltd, a highly innovative and successful cost reduction consultancy, Matthew Sanders has held senior management positions within high street multinational recruitment agencies. Matthew is renown for his dynamic and inspirational management style, his outstanding strategic vision and ability to identify simple solutions to complex problems.
James Timpson’s main focus is on 570 shoe repair shops across the UK and Ireland. Two other subsidiaries include House Name Plate Company (supplies of house signs and letter boxes to the DIY trade) and Timpson Locksmiths (a nationwide 24 hour locksmith operation). The Company also owns the White Eagle pub in Rhoscolyn, Anglesey.
