Get Creative at the Creation Station, Malpas

I didn’t know, until I saw the information about Chester’s Festival of Romance that the old Fire Station had been converted into a pottery studio. Not just pottery, a caf� too, warm & cosy! It kept the whole family busy for an afternoon whilst they “got creative’ & enjoyed the snacks.

Everyone selected what they wanted to paint and not just the romantically themed items. The children chose fairies, egg cups and animals; the adults, cars, trains and tableware from a very wide selection of items and prices.

Intensive concentration then to paint each in the desired colours before being taken away for firing and collection later. Well worth an afternoon or morning out for something different. There was also a children’s party there too – another great idea to remember.
