Duchess of Westminster to launch CF07
Her Grace The Duchess of Westminster is hosting Chester Fashion 2007 (CF07) with a glittering champagne catwalk show to be held in the Long Room at Eaton Hall on September 19.
The exclusive, invitation only charity event, will see Cheshire fashion designers and high street brands mixing it on the catwalk, with money raised from raffle prizes on the night donated to Save the Family, a local charity of which the Duchess is Patron. WAG’s and Soapstars are expected to be amongst those making up the front row patrons.
CF07 runs from September 17 to September 29 and retailers and designers across the city are working together to showcase the best fashion to rival London.
Save the Family will be launching their Jewellery Enterprise at the CF07 launch, with the models wearing some of the creations on the catwalk. The Save the Family jewellery will be on sale on the night.
Stephen Wundke, chairman of Chester Fashion 2007, said:
“It is fantastic the people of Chester can enjoy catwalk chic coupled with high street fashion in the Long Room at Eaton Hall for this year’s Chester Fashion 07. Eaton has been home to the Grosvenors since the 1440’s. I would urge you to join us at this glamorous and historic setting. Tickets are going fast and include six different Champagnes and bubblys accompanied by canapés and a buffet with wine to follow the show.”
Chester’s Fashion 2007 forms an important part of Chester Festivals and is organised on behalf of Chester City Council and CHARISMA, with support from the Northwest Regional Development Agency, Visit Chester & Cheshire, Creative Industries Support Project (CRISP), The Mall Grosvenor, The Forum Shopping Centre, HSBC, 103.4 Marcher Sound and Trinity Mirror.
Tickets for the Long Room event at Eaton Hall, sponsored by HSBC Premier, cost from £35 and must be bought in advance. Tickets include the Champagne and canapés and a hot and cold buffet with white and red wine and are available by calling 01244 350233. Guests are invited to arrive at 7pm for 7.30pm, with the event to conclude at 10.30pm.
