Recruitment specialist champions temps with awards

Two dedicated temps are the recipients of a monthly Award from The Business Connection. Chester’s longest established recruitment agency started the Award to recognise the efforts and achievements of temporary employees in their placements. Budding Stanley Kubrick wins Business Award

A filmmaker who made a documentary about homeless people in Chester has been presented with The Business Connection’s Most Enterprising Student Award at a special ceremony at The University of Chester. The Business Connection, which this year celebrated it’s 18th birthday, has sponsored the annual Award for students at The University of Chester for more than eight years and this year the Award was presented to Mercy Liao at a valedictory service at St. Thomas’ Church on Parkgate Road, Chester. International student Mercy, originally from Beijing, has recently had her documentary ‘A Long Hard Road Home’ broadcast by digital channel Propeller TV on Sky.
