Marks and Spencer charity fashion show
Chester town hall was chosen for Wednesdays Fashion 06 event, the Marks and Spencer charity fashion show in aid of Hope House. The evening started with a catwalk show of Marks and Spencer’s latest Autumn/winter ranges, followed by a charity auction and raffle.
With a full house and over 300 tickets sold the atmosphere was set for an enjoyable night. The shows models were all staff at the Chester branch of M&S from shop floor, managers to warehouse staff it catered for all ages, shapes and tastes. Showcasing some great winter designs, from rich coats and warm jumpers to formal evening wear perfect for those Christmas parties and even lingerie to warm up those winter nights! The models gave a great performance especially the younger ones who looked fantastic in the children’s fancy dress ranges.
Real clothes for real people, it gave a personal edge to a glamorous Chester fashion week, but it wasn’t just about the clothes. Prizes in the auction donated from a range of local business included a day at Chester Zoo, a round of Golf, hampers and even a car for the weekend! Auctioned off to the highest bidders and then followed by the charity raffle the evening’s events raised £1000 for Hope House.
