Nicole Kidman, is now Nicole Urban. She married country singer Keith Urban in a celebrity-studded, Sydney ceremony with her famous locks flowing and curly under a long veil. The hairstyle marks a return to traditional, but this time around, ‘low maintenance’ ringlets. I’m sure it will last!
Keep a watch out for a new series ‘Trust Me I’m a Beauty Therapist’ Your very own Urban Hair & Beauty Spa was down to the shortlist of two locations for the shoot later in July but reportedly, one of the 8 celebrities involved didn’t want to film outside London. Speculation was two of the ‘celebs’ were WAGs; Coleen McLoughlin and Theo Walcott’s girlfriend, Melanie Slade. We’d found 35 hotel rooms for the crew and a million pound house for the celebrities to stay in during late July. With the great location, the Open Golf Tournament AND the Races how could they resist Chester? The nation’s loss!
Here at Urban Hair & Beauty Spa we have just started to get serious about hair extensions now the technology has improved. The girls in the salon, all with great hair (I have to say that!) are like most women; they know what they want and they want it now! At the moment, it is long hair! Being male, I take time to embrace things, even more so as a business man!! But I see that in today’s high demand service led business we need to listen to our clients and get the best system. We now have Great Lengths real hair which makes all the difference and so far, we are the only salon with its latest technique. All you need to know is that it is the system used by Victoria Beckham and Celine Dion, it looks completely seamless and you can forget about careful washing and brushing. Great when you tie your hair up in the hot weather. It looks so sexy.
For all you ‘metro-sexual’ men out there did you know that one man in four uses wax on his hair, one in three applies wax to his hair every day and more than seven out of 10 wear aftershave? (I’d hate to meet the other 3!) Sales of body cleansing & moisturising products to men are growing 4 times faster than to women and with 89 per cent of men considering that good grooming is essential to professional success, it looks likely we will see the rise of ‘no nonsense’ skincare ranges for men. It’s not macho anymore to look like a flaky prune – or so the women in your life should be telling you.

Or Potion 7, leave it in overnight and then wash it out in the morning, leaving your hair feeling amazingly soft.
