Love Is In The Air - England's Festival of Romance 2005 Begins in Chester
The launch event, held on the 4th February, will act as the beginning of another successful year for the Festival of Romance.
Crowds gathered around the City’s Cross, to watch the unveiling of the banner on St Peter’s Church. Nathan Shallcross from Field and Trek, Chester, abseiled down the church while unveiling the Festival’s banner.
The Festival will run from the 4th to 14th February and will hold almost 200 events, including Speed dating, wedding blessing and romantic walks around the City Walls. For more information on the events and Festival, see www.festivalofromance.com or call 01244 351609.
The Festival is being organised on behalf of Chester City Council with support from the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) and Cheshire & Warrington Tourism Board.
