Northwest Vision is the film and television development agency for England’s Northwest, working behind the scenes, supporting, funding and promoting film, TV and digital production in the area.
Brief
Five weeks before the world premiere of the new Bond movie ‘Casino Royale’ in November 2006, Marketing PRojects was asked to manage media relations and promotions for the official North West premiere in Daniel Craig’s home city, Chester.
This meant working closely with the North West (and worldwide) press on competitions, reviews, news and attendance at the event with four TV news crews and numerous radio stations. On the evening, photo badges were required for media ID to strict admittance and security procedures and prestige cars for the celebrities.
The after show party at The Living Room gave further photo opportunities and involved arranging a casino, cocktails and ‘goodie bags’.
Results
Coverage obtained for the event amounted to £126,000 EAV which was a 42 times return on investment.
